There are no flashy sails, and no loud whistles. But the ship is certainly moving forward. In the past, I was just waiting for a favorable wind.
I used to feel anxious on calm days and anxious on headwinds, but now it's different.

Calm times are the time to adjust the rudder. Headwinds are the time to learn how to set the sails.

Western food culture did not spread explosively. It quietly entered the home dining table,

It has quietly taken root deep in the hearts of the Japanese people.

Omelette rice, Neapolitan, hamburger steak, all of these are served quietly in someone's life.
It has existed without pride, simply as a warm presence.

 

So I think.

The same can be said for spreading it to the world. Deep empathy is more important than loud voices.

Rather than rapid expansion, we place emphasis on solid trust. Whether it's Hong Kong, Singapore, or anywhere else in the world, we start with a plate.
Start alone. Move forward quietly. Impatience roils the waves. Confidence evens the waters.

Today, I made another small turn. That's fine.

This voyage is not a rushed one, as it is a voyage carrying culture.
